Season 4, The Voice

Songs the singers from The Voice want you to hear

2

Most of the singers who landed spots on The Voice Monday night participated in a conference call Tuesday afternoon.

Many of them have already released music. If they haven’t, they’ve posted music to YouTube.

I asked the singers to point out one of their songs they’d most like people to hear.

Here are those songs, minus an offering from Danielle Bradbery, who wasn’t available to answer (dang phone connections).

Kris Thomas (Team Shakira) “I Know You Won’t” (single available on iTunes)

Mark Andrew (Team Shakira) “Sunshine” (from his self-titled 2011 debut album, available on iTunes)

Christian Porter (Team Blake) “What I Sing to You” (from his 2012 “All About You” EP on iTunes)

Judith Hill (Team Adam) “Beautiful Life” (from the “Red Hook Summer” soundtrack on iTunes)

The Morgan Twins (Team Blake) “Keepin'”

Rhian and Cara said that is the “most fun” original they’ve done. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find it on YouTube or anywhere else, so I’m substituting another fun song the ladies do quite well — “Red High Heels”

Vedo (Team Usher) — He said he’d love people to hear a song he wrote for his mother called “Die 4 You.” The song, however, appears to be unavailable on iTunes or his Facebook page, where you can find lots of other Vedo music.

Jess Kellner (Team Usher) — She said she’d love people to hear a song she wrote called “Come Around” because it means a lot to her and has a good lesson. Jess, who fronted a band called Jess & The Echoes, hasn’t posted that song either. Head to the Jess & The Echoes website and you can find another of her originals.

I’ll also be posting meet-the-artist blogs for all the singers who land a spot on The Voice, starting with the Morgan Twins here.

Keep checking back for more of those as well as a blog on tonight’s second episode of The Voice.
