If you haven’t cast your votes for Teen Choice Awards yet, there’s still time.
Voting continues through Saturday at 11:59 PT, and teens are allowed to vote once a day per category every day between now and then.
There are lots of Idols up for honors, including past winners Kelly Clarkson and Scotty McCreery and now-former judges Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler.
And the show itself is nominated for Choice TV Reality Competition, a category American Idol has won every year since 2005.
The Voice and The X Factor are among the other four nominees for that honor (along with “Survivor: One World” and “America’s Next Top Model.”
Given the competition, Idol had better win. The X Factor was a train wreck in its first season. The Voice deserves an Emmy in reverse for doing the worst with the most in an unbelievably butchered Season 2.
Anyway, the Teen Choice Awards air Sunday from 8 to 10 p.m. on FOX. X Factor judge Demi Lovato will co-host along with Glee star Kevin McHale. Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jepsen and Flo Rida will perform. Jordin Sparks and Ellen DeGeneres are to take part in the festivities (does that mean present?).
If you missed the earlier post with the complete list of Idol nominees, here it is again. (I’ve included nominees from the other singing shows too.)
