Sundance Head leads the way on iTunes for The Voice

Sundance Head scored the biggest hit on iTunes from the opening night of the knockout round on The Voice.

Sundance sang Miley Cyrus’ “The Climb” in his match with fellow country singer Josh Gallagher.

Blake selected Sundance the winner, but Josh advanced to the live playoffs as well. He was stolen by Adam Levine after performing “My Maria.”

At noon Tuesday — the time voting typically ends after a live episode of The Voice — those were two of the three songs that had cracked the iTunes Top 200 singles chart.

Sundance was far ahead of everyone else at number 45. Teenager We McDonald was sitting at number 70 with “No More Drama;” she won her knockout against Courtnie Ramirez. And Josh was at 157 with “My Maria.”

Here’s a look at where all the singers stood at noon on the iTunes genre charts. Only songs from advancing artists are availalbe, and all eight advancing artists charted.
