Adam Lambert released the video for his new single, “Never Close Our Eyes,” today.

And would you believe it, low-key Adam plays the part of a rebel?

Just joking, of course. About the low-key part.

Anyway, the video is set in a futuristic society where conformity is expected, flamboyance discouraged.

Apparently, so is dance, unless it involves choreographed floor scrubbing. That might be my favorite scene from the video.

Check it out below. It’s a sure bet that the second single from “Trespassing” is a truer reflection of the album than “Better Than I Know Myself.”

Tomorrow, we’ll likely find out how “Trespassing” fared in week number two on the Billboard 200.

The album debuted at number one last week, bumping Carrie Underwood’s “Blown Away” from the top spot.
