Taylor John Williams Halfway through Taylor John Williams’ performance on The Voice Tuesday night, I typed these words: “I smell an iTunes hit.”

Well, within an hour of the show ending, that was already turning out to be true.

The singer-songwriter from Portland, Oregon, was already sitting at number 83 on the iTunes Top 200, a better ranking than any of the songs from Monday’s knockout round episode of The Voice.

And the song had already cracked the Top 10 on the alternative chart.

As of 8 a.m. this morning, the song was up to 40 on the overall chart and number six on the alternative chart.

Ricky Manning is enjoying a lot of iTunes success as well after than splendid version of “Wrecking Ball.”

As of 8 a.m., his song was sitting at 65 on the iTunes Top 200 and at 33 on the pop chart.

Two other songs from Tuesday’s episode are available for download; neither cracked the iTunes Top 200, but they do appear on the genre charts.

Elyjuh Rene was at 37 on the R&B / Soul chart this morning with version of Chris Brown’s “With You.”

Mia Pfirrman was sitting at 76 on the much more competitive pop chart with her cover of “Human.”

Still in the iTunes Top 200 chart from Monday night:

* Jessie Pitts with “Your Song” at number 89.

* Luke Wade with “Rich Girl” at number 117.

* James David Carter with “You’ve Got a Friend” at number 131.
