Phillip Phillips, Candice Glover and Ryan Seacrest nabbed nominations in the latest batch of Teen Choice nominations, announced last week.
And someone from a singing show should win the honors of Choice TV Personality (Male).
That’s the category in which Ryan is nominated. Other nominees include Simon Cowell of The X Factor and Adam Levine and Blake Shelton of The Voice.
The only nominee in the category who doesn’t appear on a strictly singing show is Nick Cannon of “America’s Got Talent.”
Candice, meanwhile, is nominated in the Choice Music Breakout Artist category along with Ariana Grande, Psy, Emile Sande and Ed Sheeran.
And Phillip’s “Gone, Gone, Gone” is nominated for top rock song, along with “Carry On” by fun, “Ho Hey” by the Lumineers, “Radioactive” by the Imagine Dragons and “Sail” by AWOLNation.

You’ll find others with singing show connections among the nominees, including Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera and Nicki Minaj.
There are likely many more to come. The first batch, announced in late May, focused on movies and television.
The awards show will air live on Sunday, Aug. 11, on FOX. You can vote here. As long as you’re a teen, of course.
