Tonight, The Voice will announce which four singers made it to the Season 25 finals based on overnight fan voting.

Then the remaining five singers will compete for an instant save, hoping to secure the fifth and final spot in next week’s show.

What will happen?

After last night’s show, I’m more uncertain about that than ever.

I know this. Asher HaVon should advance because, like John Legend said, he’s displayed the best voice on The Voice.

And Nathan Chester deserves a spot in the finals. He’s been superb on both lives shows.

Josh Sanders has also made a strong case for advancing based on two solid live performances.

And I have an inkling Bryan Olesen will advance, based more on excellent performances in earlier rounds than his Phil Collins’ cover Monday night.

If all that happens, one spot remains for five very talented singers. And I could make an argument about why nearly ever one of them belongs in the finale.

And that singers voted into the finale include …

Karen Waldrup of Team Dan + Shay

Nathan Chester of Team Legend

Josh Sanders of Team Reba

Asher HaVon of Team Reba

That leaves Bryan Olesen, Maddi Jane, Madison Curbelo, Serenity Arce and Tae Lewis to compete for the instant save.

And The Voice instant save goes to: Bryan Olesen.

That means Team Legend and Team Reba each have two singers in the finals; Team Dan + Shay has one. Chance won’t have a representative competing next week.

All in all, I think fans did a very nice job of selecting a Top 5, especially based on the performances we saw the last two weeks.

I’m not into rap, so I wasn’t impressed with Chance’s single. Didn’t care for the half naked guest performer either.
