The Voice provides a sneak peek of its Super Bowl ad

0

With NBC hosting the Super Bowl, it’s only natural the network use the broadcast to market some of its own shows.

And so we have an already released Super Bowl commercial for The Voice.

It features coaches Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Alicia Keys and Kelly Clarkson hanging out in a country setting, surrounded by puppies, children, a choir and even a calf, conveniently provided by host Carson Daly.

You can check it out below, as well as a separate promo video touting Kelly Clarkson’s debut as a Voice coach.

Here’s betting Kelly’s a wonderful addition to the show, and a weekly reminder of what ABC’s American Idol reboot missed out on by not snagging her as a judge.

The Voice returns Feb. 26, and that second video also provides glimpses of some of the artists we’ll meet in Season 14.

As for the Super Bowl spot, remember that NBC wisely aired The Voice Season 2 premiere immediately after the Super Bowl in 2012.

In fact, that Season 2 premiere was watched by more than 37 million people. In the past 20 years, only three Super Bowl lead-off shows have had more viewers.
