We’re just about a week away from the Jingle Bell Jam at the York Fairgrounds Toyota Arena, and good tickets are still available.

That said, ticket sales have been going well, Michael Froehlich, general manager of the York Expo Center, indicated when I spoke with him Friday.

Little wonder.  The price is right: Just $12 to watch Lauren Alaina and Laura Bell Bundy in concert at 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11.

And don’t let the name of the show fool you.  This is a country concert, not a Christmas concert, as Froehlich indicated when it was announced about a month ago.

Laura Bell Bundy has appeared at the fairgrounds before, as one of the attractions on the WGTY Country stage.  It was one of the best attended concerts in the history of those shows, Froehlich said.

This, naturally, will be Lauren Alaina’s first visit to the fairgrounds.  The Season 10 American Idol runner-up released her first album, “Wildflower” earlier this fall. It’s currently number 75 on the Billboard 200 and number 13 on Billboard’s country albums chart.
