The Season 10 American Idols have been selling out or nearly selling out venues all around America this summer.
But tickets still remain for the top 11’s Wednesday night show at the Sovereign Center in Reading, Pa.
When I checked at 3:30 p.m., $55 and $76 tickets were still available for the 7 p.m. concert.
Based on the latest numbers reported by mjsbigblog, the Season 10 summer tour has been a phenomenal success.
Eighteen of the 34 tour stops for which stats are available have been sellouts.
Overall, 97 percent of tickets have been sold at those 34 stops. That includes a crowd of 92 percent capacity in Washington, D.C., and 95 percent capacity in Philly last month.
Compare that to Season 9, when several dates were canceled because of poor sales.
This year’s tour is winding down. Just four dates remain, in Toronto (Friday), Rochester (Saturday) and the Philippines (Sept. 20-21).
