Todd Tilghman, the Season 18 Voice champ, has a new single out called “Still to Come.” Says Todd: “I wrote ‘Still To Come’, originally on the heels of one of the most devastating times in my life. I wasn’t so concerned with whether or not I’d get through it. I just really wondered how. I hung on to the scriptures: Our suffering is light, and temporary, and it’s working for us an eternal weight of glory. And the suffering we face now is nothing compared to the glory that is still to come.” It follows “Dig My Grave,” “Blood, Sweat and Tears” and a cover of “Goodness of God” as Todd’s fourth release of 2023.
Josh Gallagher, a Season 11 finalist, has a heartfelt new single out called “Father to Father.” It’s a son he released about his own young son and seeking guidance in raising him. Says Josh via press release: ““Father to Father is one of the most important songs I’ve ever written. It’s crazy to think about bringing a kid into the world. How can something so small be larger than life? It’s hard to wrap your head around. Being a Dad is the best thing I’ll ever be, so I want to do it right. And this song goes straight to the source for some advice on how to do that.”
Kota Wade from Season 9 is back in Bad Wolf mode with a well-timed new single called “Summer Girl.” Bad Wolf is an alternative rock band Kota has fronted since her days on the show. Says Kota on Instagram: “A lot of y’all have commented that it’s super different from usual Bad Wolf vibes but I’m glad you’re diggin it! The new and coming music is gonna be blends of lots of genres.” “Summer Girl” follows “Tides” as Bad Wolf’s second single of 2023.
