Troy Ramey from The Voice Season 12 has released his second post-show single.

It’s called “Adderall” and it hit download sites last week. You can check out the fully produced version and a stripped-down version below.

“This song, to me, is really about how depression can have a big impact on the one that loves you the the most,” Troy writes on Facebook.

“It’s an apology and an expression of gratitude for pulling me out of the shit over and over again.”

He finished the song with the help of Duncan Pelletier and James Bridges and credits producer Dante Lattanzi for bringing “my vision to life perfectly.

“This might be my favorite song I’ve ever written,” Troy writes on that Facebook sites.

Which is high praise considering his impressive catalog of pre-show music. He also released a fine single called “Forever Wild” since his run on The Voice.

On the show, Troy, 32 at the time, turned four chairs with his blind audition cover of “Wild World” by Cat Stevens; then made the surprising decision to join Team Gwen Stefani.

But it worked out well. Troy made it to the Top 12 before being eliminated.

In addition to Facebook, you can follow Troy through his website. On Twitter, he’s @iamtroymusic.
