If anyone cares, we’re about a month away from the start of Season 18 of The Voice.

I phrase it that way because the show has already announced that there will be no Tuesday episodes for most of Season 18.

And because the show has already indicated that the finals will last just three weeks.

That has dampened — severely dampened — my enthusiasm for enduring another season that’s shaping up to be a repeat of the barely bearable Season 16.

Anyway, I write this because the show has announced battle round advisers for the upcoming season.

Here goes …

Nick Jonas will be joined by brothers Joe and Kevin. Oh, boy, a Jonas Brothers reunion. Just what I watch The Voice for.

Kelly Clarkson will be joined by Dua Lipa. At least the photo of Dua hugging Kelly is sorta cute.

Blake Shelton will be joined by Bebe Rexha, which doesn’t seem to make a lot of sense until you remember that mega hit she enjoyed with Florida Georgia Line.

And John Legend’s battle round advising mate will be Ella Mai.
