After four weeks of blind auditions and four weeks of battle rounds, live performances begin tonight on The Voice.
I’m not sure precisely how the format will work. But last year, The Voice had all the members of two teams perform on the opening night of the semifinals.
The top vote-getter from each team advanced based on fan support. Then each mentor got to save one contestant. That meant the elimination of the remaining contestants.
I do know this — The Voice has announced that there will be five ways to vote this season. And fans will be limited to 10 votes per method.
Fans will be allowed to vote by calling a toll free number, by texting votes from a Sprint phone, by downloading their favorite contestant’s performance and by voting online at The Voice website. For the first time, votes will also be cast via Facebook.
