Well, if you’re going by blind audition chair turns, the answer is clear: Alicia Keys.

Alicia has two four-chair turns and a trio of three-chair turns on her team entering the battle round.

She also had to compete for every single singer on her team. Well, except for Chris Blue, who nabbed the very last spot on the show in Season 12 and clearly would have turned more than one chair if the other teams hadn’t already been full.

Alicia’s 12 team members turned a total of 30 chairs during the blind auditions, compared to 28 for Team Blake, 26 for Team Gwen and just 24 for Team Adam.

Do chair turns dictate future success on the show? Absolutely not. Plenty of four-chair turn recipients have fallen short of making the voting rounds.

But it’s also worth nothing that seven of the shows previous 11 winners turned four chairs in the blind audition round. A single with a single chair turn in the blind auditions has never won the show.

This year’s four-chair turn recipients include Anatalia Villaranda and Autumn Turner of Team Alicia; Casi Joy and Valerie Ponzio of Team Blake; JChosen and Troy Ramey of Team Gwen and Josh West of Team Adam.
