Who’s in danger tonight on The Voice?

Well, if I’m a fan of anyone in the Top 8, I’ve got my Twitter finger poised and ready for the last five minutes of tonight’s show.

Folks, this is one of the most up-in-the-air seasons of The Voice I can remember.

Between all the preferable treatment from The Voice and a series of strong showings on iTunes, you have to think Kirk Jay is a lock for next week’s finals.

But anyone else?

I mean, Chevel Shepherd, Sarah Grace, Kennedy Holmes and Kymberli Joye have all taken turns at the top of the iTunes chart.

And in the past three weeks, the Apple Music bonus has gone to Reagan Strange and Chris Kroeze.

This is certain: The three singers who got the most votes overnight will advance to next week’s Season 15 finale. The bottom two vote-getters automatically head home.

The three singers in the middle will sing for an instant save.

I’ve already said my dream final four would be Kymberli Joye, Sarah Grace, Chris Kroeze and Kennedy Holmes.

Kennedy’s a phenom for her age. Kymberli’s the best singer on the show. As for Sarah and Chris, they’re the singers whose post-show music I’d most expect to listen to and enjoy.

Do I expect that to happen? Nope.

In fact, I’ll be surprised if Sarah and Kymberli don’t go home tonight.
