Will Mosely might not have won the American Idol crown Sunday night.

But he was winning on the music charts on Monday.

“Good Book Bad,” the single he released Friday and performed on Sunday’s show had rocketed to number 4 on the Apple Music Top 200 singles chart.

It was also sitting at number 3 on the country singles chart.

“Gone for Good,” an original he performed for his audition and again later on the show, had jumped all the way to 43 on the Top 200 and 25 on the country chart.

What’s more, all four of the other singles he released prior to American Idol had made their way into the top 200 on the country chart.

And on Spotify, each of those songs has at least 150,000 plays.

And “Gone for Good” has cracked the 1 million mark.

“Feeling incredibly blessed to have been apart of this amazing journey,” Will wrote on social media following Sunday’s season finale.

“Get ready America, because this is just the launch pad of my music career. Here comes Will.”

Katy Perry’s prediction prior to the announcement of results Sunday night: “I think you’re going to be a star, no matter what happens.”
