Will Victoria Beckham replace Paula on Idol?

Well, now. This is bound to spark some speculation.

Remember that one-time gig Victoria Beckham was supposed to have as the fourth Idol judge at the Denver callbacks.

The Associated Press is reporting that it became a two-time gig when the former Spice gal showed up for the Boston callbacks Thursday as well.

Could Posh become the next Paula?

Time will tell. Of course, not everyone is convinced Paula won’t be back in time for the start of season nine.

Meanwhile, I’ll continue to lobby my stance: Please, Idol, if Paula is gone, don’t replace her. Stick with three judges.

The show is supposed to be about singing, not talking. And four judges equals too much talking.

Here’s a link to the Associated Press story.
