Circus is planning to release a debut album in 2016.

And as a reminder of what’s in store, the Los Angeles-based band has released a video cover of Duran Duran’s “Do You Believe in Shame?”

Wow, doesn’t Allison Iraheta sound fantastic?

Allison, the fourth-place finisher on Season 8 of American Idol, is 23 now and married to Matthew Hager, who plays bass and keyboards with the band. Halo Circus also includes Veronica Bellino and Brian Stead.

The band played its first show at The Troubadour in Hollywood in 2013. Since then, they’ve released just two singles — “Gone” in 2013 and the Duran Duran cover last year.

But that’s about to change. The band will be headlining another show at The Troubadour called “Say it Loud! A Night of Cultural Disruption” on Dec. 14. And Allison says a debut album will be coming in 2016.

Here’s how Allison describes it: “It’s a bilingual concept album about life seen through the eyes of a girl who was raised by El Salvadorian immigrants, and achieved the impossible to become a witness to a world that she didn’t know existed where she grew up.”

As for the video, it premiered earlier this week on Yahoo Music and “is a great introduction to the sound” of that debut album, Allison says.

“Playing off of the Halo Circus rabbit logo, the viewer follows us down the rabbit hole to get a glimpse of our lives as a band,” she added.
