York’s DaNica Shirey scored her biggest hit yet on iTunes after Monday’s performance on The Voice.

But will it be enough?

The 25-year-old singer’s version of “These Dreams” by Heart was number 39 on the iTunes singles chart and 18 on the iTunes pop chart when voting ended at noon.

Her previous best had been last week’s “I Have Nothing,” which hit 49 on the overall singles chart and 23 on the pop chart.

But while “These Dreams” performed well on the music charts, five artists landed ahead of DaNica among the Top 8 who performed Monday night.

Five of those singers will advance during tonight’s results show. Four will move forward on the basis of fan voting and iTunes results; one will advance based on an instant save that will be decided by tweets sent in by fans during the final minutes of tonight’s show.
