Welcome to the 21st century, American Idol. The show has finally decided not to hide how well its singers’ singles do on the iTunes charts.
Thursday night marks the first ever half-hour results show on American Idol. So don’t tune in late. The show starts at 9 p.m. and, by 9:20 or so, we should know who’s in the bottom three.
We got to see Ryan Seacrest reveal his ankles. We got to see Harry Connick Jr. and Jennifer Lopez bite the ears off a big gummy bear. Hey, you’d never know American Idol had two hours of airtime to fill Wednesday night and just nine singers to fill it, would you?
Can Randy Jackson get the American Idol singers and the house band in sync? I wouldn’t bet the house on it, but we’ll certainly get the answer over the next two hours.
Wondering how the singers from The Voice are doing today on the iTunes chart? Well, no one from Tuesday’s episode has cracked the Top 200 on the site’s singles chart. But Christina Grimmie and Kristen Merlin are doing very well considering their battles weren’t even shown in their entirety.
