Talk about life imitating a song.

Lee DeWyze apparently didn’t know Jonna Walsh before casting her in his “Sweet Serendipity” video last year.

Now they’re engaged, with a wedding set for the fall of 2012.

This despite the fact that she’s a Los Angeles Lakers fan.

Anyone who knows anything about Lee knows that he’s a Chicago sports fan through and through. And that includes the Bulls.

Lee, winner of Idol season nine, scored a modest hit with “Sweet Serendipity.”

Jonna has appeared in a number of TV series, including “CSI: New York” and “Everybody Hates Chris” and had supporting roles in “Faster,” a 2010 film starring Dwayne Johnson and Billy Bob Thornton, and “Couples Retreat,” a 2009 comedy starring Vince Vaughn.

And here she is, starring in Lee’s debut video as, what else, his love interest.
