Kayko of American Idol Season 22 is planning a tour for this fall

Kayko of American Idol Season 22 is planning a tour for this fall.

Season 22 American Idol standout KAYKO has announced a 20-plus date fall tour that includes stops in Philly and D.C.

He’s also been busy releasing new music — to the tune of eight singles so far in 2025 — and has an album on the way.

The Manic Pixie Dream Girl Tour kicks off Sept. 5 with a show in Florida and runs through Oct 26 with a show in Houston, Texas.

The Philly stop is set for Oct. 1 at Kung Fu Necktie; the D.C. show for Oct. 20 at Pearl Street. The Lost Stars will open each date.

“I’ve never been more excited for a tour EVER in my life,” KAYKO writes on Instagram.

As for the new music, KAKKO’s latest single is “Like Water,” released in late June. He describes it as an upbeat sad song about “what it feels like to fight for love … and lose.” Check out the music video velow.

It continues a string of impressive singles that also includes “Can You Show Me” and “Sugar Rush” from earlier this year.

And the Manic Pixie Dream Girl album — 10 songs strong — is expected to land later this month.

Meanwhile, KAYKO’s Idol audition song, “Time of Your Life,” is approaching 2 million streams on Spotify.

The 25-year-old finished Top 10 on Idol. KAYKO had released lots of music prior to the show, much of it as Your Best Friend’s Favorite Band.
