The members of Team Niall will perform in The Voice playoffs Monday night.

By the end of the evening, Niall will chose one singer to advance to the Season 28 finale.

That singer will join Aubrey Nicole of Team Reba and Jazz McKenzie of Team Michael, last week’s picks to make the finals.

Monday’s show starts at 9 p.m.

And after it ends, fans will have until 7 a.m. Tuesday to vote for a wild card participant in next week’s finale.

They will be voting between the three members of Team Niall who aren’t selected to advance and three members of Team Snoop, which also performs Monday.

Here’s a look at Team Niall, followed by Voice Views’ pick on who should get that spot in the finals.

Aiden Ross, 20, College Station, Texas: He was the very first contestant we met in Season 28, turning four chairs with his cover of Adele’s “Love in the Dark.” He has since won his battle with Ava Nat and his knockout round match against Liam von Elbe.

Ava Nat, 18, Garden City, N.Y.: Ava survived that battle round loss to Aiden because Niall was so impressed with her vocals that he saved her. She turned three chairs in the blinds, singing “I Love You, I’m Sorry” by Gracie Abrams. Ava won a knockout round match against Sadie Dahl that aired more than a month ago.

DEK of Hearts (Kollin Bailey, Emily Clapp, and Dylan John), Nashville, Tenn.: The country-pop trio turned four chairs in the blinds singing Jo Dee Messina’s “Heads Carolina, Tails California.” They followed it up with a battle round win over Jack Austin and a knockout victory over Kayleigh Clark.

Kirbi, 24, of Florence, Ala.: She turned four chairs in the blinds with an emotional performance of “God Only Knows” by For King & Country.” She won a battle round match with Carolina Rodriguez and a knockout against Dustin Dale Gaspard.

Voice Views take: In a season this short — finalists are being chosen based on just three solo performances and one duet — the tiebreaker goes to the most unique artist, the one fans will remember. Among this group of playoff contestants, that’s DEK of Hearts with its wonderful harmonies. They’re pretty darn good singers on their own, too.

But if I was a DEK of Hearts fan, I’d be ready for the wild card voting. Because this is the most talented team on the show. It’s certainly possible that Kirbi, Ava or Aiden could show up on stage with an undeniable performance. Aiden’s been especially impressive; Kirbi’s one of the most adept at conveying emotion.

And while DEK of Hearts won Team Niall’s mic drop, let’s not forget last week. Mic drop recipients Max Chambers and Aaron Nichols were not the chosen singers to advance from Team Michael or Team Reba.

A look back …
