Brantley Brown of American Idol Season 24
Idol returns to ABC on Monday, Jan. 26 with the judging trio of Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie and Carrie Underwood.
Here’s more about Brantley:
* She’s a teenage Christian singer from the town of Bamberg in southwestern South Carolina.
* On Facebook, she describes herself as a “small town girl with a big God who just loves to sing for Him!”
* In August, she was raising money for training and preparation toward her dream of becoming a worship leader.
* “At just 16 years old, he (God) has allowed me to travel to many churches to share his word and worship with others, which never fails to bless me,” she wrote.
* And she’s continued to do that since then. A Brantley Brown performance calendar from mid-September through early November included performances at eight South Carolina churches.
* Brantley announced her Idol audition in November, writing “soo, I’ve been keeping a secret.”
* She hasn’t been keeping her singing talent a secret. Her Instagram and TikTok are loaded with covers. Her most popular on TikTok is a cover of Brandon Lake’s “Hard Fought Hallelujah.”
* Brantley has already released about a half dozen covers to streaming sites, including “Go Rest High on That Mountain,” Miranda Lambert’s “The House That Built Me” and, most recently, Leanna Crawford’s “Honest.” Her vocal on the latter is superb and filled with character. She delivers very mature vocals for her age.
* She also released a music video you can check out below for Ashley McBryde’s “Bible and a .44,” writing “words can’t describe how much this song means to me.”

Brantley is an awesome singer. She has been to my church in Aiken SC. I known her dad, aunt and her grandma for many years. She is an inspiration to hear.
