Angelina Remondino of American Idol Season 24
Idol returns to ABC on Monday, Jan. 26, with the coaching trio of Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie and Carrie Underwood.
Here’s more about Angelina.
* She’s a 2025 graduate of James Madison High School in Vienna, Va., located in the suburbs of Washington, D.C.
* She’s 18 and currently attending Belmont University in Nashville and studying music business.
* Angelina hasn’t released music yet, but her social media features several impressive originals, including “Can I Miss You Now” and “Grow Old.” Check out the latter below.
* In what she calls a dream come true, she got to perform at a writer’s night at the Blue Bird Cafe in Nashville this fall. She sang an original calls “Fix It for Me,” a song she said she wrote when learning her grandmother had been diagnosed with breast cancer. You can check out the performance on her Facebook page.
* Angelina is also vocally versatile. Check out her soulful cover of “A Change is Gonna Come” on her TikTok. And a splendid cover of Lauren Watkins “I Was Fine Before I Met You” that shows how wonderful she sounds singing country music.
* Here’s what Angelina told her high school newspaper about her passion for music: “Music is my life, and I find so much joy in making it, there are very few circumstances where I wouldn’t rather be sitting at home making music or performing.”
* Angelina was also a member of James Madison’s regional and district champion soccer team for four years and played the sport much longer than that.
