Kimberly Caldwell (AP Photo)According to the good folks with Vanguard Records, we can expect a single from Kimberly Caldwell in February, followed by the release of her debut album in April.

You can hear a snippet of the single, “Mess of You,” by heading to Kimberly’s totally revamped Web site.

The site also features a three-minute video during which Kimberly explains how she’s “been preparing my entire life for this moment.”

With the help of some inspiration from Diane Warren, Kimberly says she wrote about half the songs on her upcoming album.

The video features snippets of her singing three songs, the single, “Heart Like Mine” and “Going, Going, Gone.” She performed the latter during the Thanksgiving parade in Philly. (Watch that video here.)
