Tonight, we get to hear David Archuleta sing his new single on the American Idol results show.

This summer, David A. fans will have more chances to see the season seven runnerup in concert.

David is heading back out on tour with Demi Lovato on a summer itinerary that will include 45 stops, starting June 21 in Hartford, Conn., and ending Aug. 24 in Manchester, N.H.

In between are three stops in Pennsylvania, including a Friday, Aug. 21, show at the Hershey Star Pavilion.

Tickets for all the shows go on sale Saturday morning. As soon as I get more info on the time and ticket prices, I’ll post it.

Apparently, a VIP package will be available for the Hershey show at some point. According to David A.’s Web site, a VIP package includes a meet-and-greet and photo op with David, an exclusive pre-show acoustic showcase with David, a pre-show party and a David A. gift bag.

Bet it also comes with a pretty high price tag. But again, that info isn’t available yet.

The other Pennsylvania shows are June 22 at the Wachovia Arena in Wilkes-Barre and June 27 at the Mann Music Theater in Philadelphia.

Tickets can be obtained through Ticketmaster beginning 10 a.m. Saturday for the Wilkes-Barre show and range from $39.50 to $49.50.
