Kelly Clarkson in the video for My Life Would Suck Without You
Billboard released its latest music charts Friday.

Given that this is the American Idol time of year, it’s not surprising that the charts are liberally sprinkled with the show’s former contestants.

Here are the highlights:

Kelly Clarkson's All I Ever Wanted* Last week, Kelly Clarkson owned the top spot on Billboard’s Hot 200 albums. This week, “All I Ever Wanted” slides to number five, partly because of the release of soundtracks for “Twilight” and “Hanna Montana: The Movie.”

The single, “My Life Would Suck Without You,” continues to be a huge hit. Eleven weeks in, it’s still number seven on the Hot 100 Singles, down just one slot from last week. It’s also number 10 on the Hot Digital Singles chart.

Lady Gaga, who appeared on this week’s Idol results show, owns two of the top 10 singles in the land.

* Carrie Underwood: After 73 weeks on the charts, her album “Carnival Ride” bolted to number 15 on the Hot 200 following her appearance on the Idol results show two weeks ago. This week, the album slides to number 31.

Her “I Told You So” duet with Randy Travis checks in at number 25 on the Hot 100 singles, down from number nine last week. The song is number nine on the country singles chart; the album is number five.

* David Cook: His self-titled debut album slipped 24 spots this week, from 54 to 78 on the Hot 200. It peaked at number three and has sold more than 1 million copies. The single “Light On” is number seven on the Hot Adult Top 40 chart.

* Jennifer Hudson: Her self-titled and Grammy winning debut album has been in the top 200 for 26 weeks. This week, it’s number 82, down from 56 last week.

But she still has two songs in the top 50 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, “If This Isn’t Love,” which climbed from 13 to it’s peak position of 12 this week; and “Spotlight,” which is number 28 and has been on the chart for 46 weeks.

* Mandisa: Her second Christian album, “Freedom,” debuted at number 83 on the Hot 200 this week. Her single, “My Deliverer,” has been on the Hot Christian Songs chart for seven weeks, climbing to number 13 this week, up two spots.

* Taylor Hicks: His second album, “The Distance,” didn’t have much staying power. It debuted on the top 200 two weeks ago at 56, slipped to 87 last week and disappeared from the top 100 this week.
