Before last week’s Top 20 round began on American Idol, I posted a blog on how many Facebook fans and Twitter followers each contestant had.
With the finals just hours away, I checked those numbers again this morning.
Wow! If those numbers mean much, Angie Miller heads into tonight’s competition with a big advantage.
She was already the Facebook and Twitter leader a week ago, with 6,349 fans and 8,831 followers, respectively.
Since then, her Facebook fans have increased five-fold, her Twitter followers more than four-fold, widening her gap over the rest of the Top 10.
Lazaro Arbos remains the second-most-popular contestant on both Facebook and Twitter.
Anyway, here are the numbers as of 10 a.m. this morning.
