Carrie Underwood sang two songs and did a fine job of hosting the show again, along with Entertainer of the Year winner Brad Paisley.

Kelly Clarkson performed a duet with Jason Aldean and sounded great, though the Associated Press failed to provide any photos of that performance for a reason I can’t explain.

For photos of almost everything else, go here.

And Kellie Pickler helped present the single of the year award to Lady Antebellum for … you guessed it, “Need You Now.”

Kellie also did pre-show interviews for Ellen DeGeneres that you just have to see. Go here for that.

Otherwise, here are videos featuring the Idol highlights from last night’s show, with a couple of other goodies thrown in.

Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson perform “Don’t You Want To Stay”

Carrie opens the show with “Songs Like This” from her “Play On” album.

Carrie sings “Mama’s Song” during the CMA Awards.

And a couple other of my personal favorites …

Miranda Lambert sings “That’s the Way the World Goes Around” from her winning “Revolution” album.

Taylor Swift, who’s likely to win lots of CMA Awards next year for her “Speak Now” album, performs “Back To December”
