“Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown” closed two months after it opened and three weeks earlier than scheduled, according to this article in Broadway.com.

The cast, including Justin Guarini as Carlos, took a final curtain call Sunday.

The early closing isn’t a big surprise.

While Justin got decent reviews, the show did not. Go here for links to some of those reviews.

But the play will spawn a cast recording, scheduled for release in the spring by Ghostlight Records.

Featured along with Justin on the CD will be de’Adre Aziza, Laura Benanti, Danny Burstein, Nikka Graff Lanzarone, Patti LuPone, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Mary Beth Peil and Sherie Rene Scott.
