Believe it or not, just three weeks remain on Season 10 of The Voice.

This week is the last single elimination show, with the field being cut to a Top 8.

Next week, four singers will be eliminated, setting the stage for the two night season finale on May 23-24.

1. Alisan Porter (1): Her number six showing on iTunes last week with “Let Him Go” wasn’t only her bet yet, it also made her the first Season 10 singer to cracked the Top 10 on the singles chart twice.

2. Laith Al-Saadi (2): Adam Levine has said Alisan should win Season 10. I wonder if he’ll soon change his tune now that Laith is emerging as one of the singers who could challenge her for that crown.

3. Adam Wakefield (3): I was a little confused when Blake Shelton said he was looking for more energy from Adam, who then spent the entire performance of “I Got a Woman” behind his piano. But, hey, he was again near the top on iTunes.

4. Mary Sarah (4): Watch out above. The classic country songbird’s performances have been much better received the past two weeks. Combine that with a vast social media following and you have the makings of a potential finalist.

5. Hannah Huston (5) and …

6. Brian Bautista (8): They’re in the same boat. With Alisan, Laith and Adam looking like finalists and Mary Sarah knocking on the door, both of them need a magical moment in the next two weeks to avoid the mass elimination that’s on the horizon.

7. Shalyah Fearing (6): The momentum the show’s youngest remaining contestant had a couple of weeks ago has vanished. Blame it on her decision to sing Miley Cyrus’ “The Climb.” Look at the names above. That’s an awful lot of experience standing between her and the finals.

8. Paxton Ingram (9): I though for sure last week’s song choice (“It’s All Coming Back to Me Now”) would land Paxton in the bottom two. Nope. He wasn’t even near the bottom of iTunes. Still, another gospel tune would be wise this week.

9. Nick Hagelin (7): Here’s the challenge facing Nick: Since the instant save was introduced in Season 5, I can recall just one singer — Joshua Davis in Season 8 — who landed in the bottom two one week and managed to avoid the bottom two the next week.
