The song is “I Alone Have Loved You” and it hit iTunes earlier this month.
On Facebook, Hannah says it’s one of the first songs she ever wrote. It was inspired by an Andrew Wyeth painting, “Christina’s World.”
In fact, pre-Voice Hannah recorded a version of the song for the NPR Tiny Desk Concert.
And Voice viewers could help her get a chance to perform an original song on the show’s Dec. 6 episode.
Voting is underway on the official Voice app through Nov. 20. Hannah’s up against Zach Seabaugh from Season 9 and Chris Jamison from Season 7.
Hannah, 25, told The Lincoln Journal Star that she’s taken a year’s leave of absence from teaching to see what happens with a potential music career.
Her first major show after The Voice came Sept. 2 at the Nebraska State Fair where she performed “I Alone Have Loved You” in front of a crowd of about 4,000.
“A lot of people thought I would just start pumping out records and stuff,” Huston told the newspaper. “I’m like ‘Guys, I was a teacher. I have always loved music, but this is all very new to me.’”
