Phil Stacey set to release third album this month

Phil Stacey will perform in York as part of the Advancing Honor Rally on Friday, May 27.Season six American Idol contestant Phil Stacey is preparing to release a third studio album.

In fact, the album, called “Faith,” has an expected release date of March 29.

It’s being released exclusively through Conquest Entertainment, and pre-orders are being taken here.

Conquest explains the album this way: “‘Faith’ is a collection of uplifting and inspiring songs with soulful vocals sure to please music lovers of all ages.”

After tying for fifth place on Idol in season six, Phil released a self-titled country album in 2008.

He followed up with a 2009 Christian album, “Into the Light.”

That album cracked the top 30 on Billboard’s Christian albums chart and produced a hit Christian single, “You’re Not Shaken,” that broke into the top 20.

Below is a clip of Phil performing a song off the album — “Be Good to Each Other” — live at the Miami Airlines Arena last month.

From the sound of it, this album might be Phil’s best work yet.

Phil is also scheduled to be in York this spring, performing at the Advancing Honor Rally at Sovereign Bank Stadium on May 27. For more on that event, go here.
