As part of the run-up to the Season 16 finale, each member of the Top 5 recorded an original song.
The Top 3 — winner Maddie Poppe, runner-up Caleb Hutchinson and third-place finisher Gabby Barrett — performed their songs on that finale.
But the singles from Cade and Michael J. Woodard were released as well. Cade’s was written by Steve Solomon, Tash Phillips and Cameron Walker.
The Top 7 Idols, of course, are still on tour. That tour will stop in at The Lyric in Baltimore on Sunday and the Tower Theater in the Philly area next Tuesday.
Plenty of tickets are available for both shows and the Idols will also be stopping at the York Fair on Sept. 12.
Cade also recently celebrated his 22nd birthday, an occasion American Idol colleague and girlfriend Gabby Barrett marked on her Instagram page.
