If Chris Kroeze seems perfectly at home on The Voice stage, there’s a good reason.

Prior to the auditioning, he was performing 200 or more shows a year from his home base in Barron, Wisc.

In recent years, that’s included trips oversees to perform for U.S. troops. Chris credits those trips for re-igniting his passion for performing.

The country-rocker should have plenty of motivation following a Voice run that has taken him all the way to the Season 15 finale.

It began with a blind audition performance of Stevie Ray Vaughn’s “Pride and Joy” that turned two chairs and earned him a spot on Team Blake Shelton at age 27.

Pre-show, Chris had released three single, including a Christmas cover of “Hallelujah.”

Here’s a look back at his performance on The Voice.

Blind audition — “Pride and Joy”

Battle round — “Back in the High Life Again” (versus Mercedes Ferreira-Dias)

Knockout round — “Burning House” (versus Michael Lee, saved)

Live playoffs — “Have You Ever Seen the Rain”
