Lee DeWyze's first music video has been released. (AP Photo)WuLi Records is “superjazzed” to be releasing a new album of old Lee DeWyze material next month, the company says in a press release issued today.

“What Once Was” is set for release Feb. 14.  Pre-orders are being taken on Amazon.

The album will include material Lee recorded while under contract with the company prior to Idol.

Lee released two independent albums with WiLu — “So I’m Told” in 2007 and “Slumberland” in 2010.  The latter is particularly good.

But it doesn’t sound like Lee is superjazzed about any of this.

“This ‘What Once Was,’ never heard I it,” he tweeted yesterday.  “Just n FYI, this is not my album.”

Then he followed up with: “My REAL new album, will be out sometime this year, hopefully sooner than later.”

Lee was dumped by his record label after his post-Idol album, “Live It Up,” failed to live up to expectations.

WiLu Record officials had previously indicated they had enough leftover material from Lee to release a third full-length album.

Today’s release describes the songs on “What Once Was”  as “raw and unfiltered, showcasing a variety of musical styles.”
