*** Record deal for Stefano ***

That list of Season 10 Idols with record deals just keeps getting longer.

Stefano Langone became the seventh today, announcing that he had signed with Hollywood Records.

USA Today reports that Stefano will likely release a single this spring, followed by an album over the summer.

The music, Stefano said, will be pop/R&B. And the album might include some songs in English and Spanish with an eye toward the Latino market.

“I feel blessed to have gotten this opportunity with Hollywood Records,” Stefano said in the press release announcing the deal.  “I think it is a great fit for me and I’m so excited and hungry for what’s to come.”

To his fans, Stefano tweeted this message:  “For everyone who believed! It’s just the beginning!”

The Hollywood Records roster includes Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, the Plain White T’s and the Jonas Brothers.

*** Kelly at the Grammys, too ***

Yesterday, AP broke the news that Kelly Clarkson would be singing the national anthem at the Super Bowl.

Today, the Grammys announced the first list of performers for the 54th annual show, to be held just one week later (8 p.m., CBS).

And the list includes Kelly, who is nominated for a Grammy alongside Jason Aldean for their “Don’t You Want to Stay” duet.

Other performers announced today include the Foo Fighters, Bruno Mars, Nicki Minaj, and Taylor Swift.

Among former Idols, Carrie Underwood and Mandisa are also up for Grammys — Carrie for best county solo performance (“Mama’s Song”); Mandisa for best contemporary Christian album (“What If We Were Real”).

*** An Idol couple ***

People reports that Idol Season 3 runner-up Diana DeGarmo and Season 5 contestant Ace Young are now a couple, living together and making music together in Los Angeles.

The attraction began when they co-starred in a Broadway revival of “Hair,” roles which required each of them to disrobe on stage.  Ace talks about that experience in the People interview.

Diana has kept busy with a series of roles in musical theater since Idol.  She has also played a singer and mobster’s daughter on The Young and the Restless.

Ace also appeared in “Grease” on Broadway and as a co-host on American Idol Extra back in Season 8.

Ace and Diana both released albums after Idol with only modest success.  They’ve now formed a band called All Access with two friends.

The group recently performed at a Sweet 16 party to raise money for Toys for Tots. You can check out photos from the appearance here.

And below is a video of Ace and Diana performing together at the Hollywood Christmas Parade last month.
