Crystal Bowersox has a new single and two shows coming up in this area.

The single is called “Dead Weight” and debuted on ryanseacrest.com earlier this week.

Crystal Bowersox has a new single and two shows planned in the area. I’ve embedded the official version and a live version of the song below.

“It’s about knowing in your heart that not knowing the outcome (of something) is perfectly acceptable; breathe. I’m still figuring it out myself,” Crystal told the site.

Sometime in March, a new Crystal album should follow. It will be her first since she released “Farmer’s Daughter” in 2010, months after finishing second on Season 9 of American Idol.

Crystal has also announced a series of tour dates for March, including stops in D.C. and Philly.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $22 at the door for her Thursday, March 7, show at The Hamilton in D.C. Head here for more information.

The next night, she’ll sing at the Tin Angel in Washington, D.C. Tickets are $15; seating is unreserved except for Serrano diners. Head here for more information.

Head here for a complete list of Crystal’s upcoming concert dates.
