Adam Lambert missed out on a Do Something Award during the show’s filming Sunday night in Los Angeles.

But he was on hand, joining Rose McGowan in the presentation of the Do Something style award to Tyra Banks.

Adam was among six nominees for the Do Something music awards, along with Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, The Black Eyed Peas, Linkin Park and Nick Jonas.

Adam had been nominated for donating proceeds from his remix of “Aftermath” to the Trevor Project, for helping raised more than $322,000 for DonorsChoose and for asking fans to donate to Chairty Water for his 29th birthday. They wound up donating more than $320,000.

Despite all those good deeds, the award went to Justin.

The show airs on VH1 at 9 p.m. Thursday.
