New post-Voice music released recently includes singles from Ali Caldwell, Zaxai and Malik Davage.

Making that more special is the fact that the tracks from Ali and Zaxai are being billed as lead singles from upcoming albums.

Here’s a bit about each of those releases.

The links take you to the songs on Apple Music. Or you can check out the Spotify snippets below.

Ali Caldwell released “Stuck,” which she calls her first “official” single off her upcoming album on Friday. It’s a soulful rocker of a love song, and Ali says on Instagram that working on the single and the album have helped her get through the difficult challenge posed by the pandemic. A Top 6 finisher on Season 11 of The Voice, Ali’s been talking about the album “88” since before appearing on Season 2 of The Four on Fox in the summer of 2018. It’ll apparently be released soon.

Zaxai from Season 15 released the single “Goodbye” on Friday. It’s the first single off an upcoming album called “Son of the Xrown.” On social media, Zaxai says the album will cover everything that’s happened to him since The Voice. Sounds like that’s quite a bit since he lists “bad breakups, bad decisions that started off a great time, adventure, enemies, new friendships, secret lovers, experiences and revelations in over 8 countries & 10 cities whilst on the road!”

Malik Davage from Season 12 has released a smooth new party song called “21.” Mulon Vuitton provides a sultry vocal assist. And a video — filmed in Miami last month — is on the way. It’s follows “Woah” as the second single of 2020 from Malik. He released his debut album — “The Call Back” — in January 2019.
