Former The Voice winner Alisan Porter
It’s a country single called “Never Could,” and Alisan says it tells the story of learning to love yourself through the eyes of another person.
“It’s about truly understanding what it means to be in a partnership, and seeing love in a totally new way,” she writes on Instagram.
Alisan, 37, won Season 10 of The Voice and released a five-track pop EP, “I Come in Pieces,” in the summer of 2017.
But this isn’t the first time her music has taken on more of a country vibe. That was the case with her fine 2014 pre-Voice album, “Who We Are.”
Alisan’s upcoming album — there isn’t a release date yet — will be called “Pink Cloud.”

SO SOME OLDER SINGERS WHO CANT GET IN THE RECORD COMPANY DOORS BECAUSE OF THEY ARENT THE NEXT TAYLOR SWIFT OR KANE BROWN. IN THE 90s,LUKE COMBS,CHRIS STAPLETON,DARIUS RUCKER WOULD HAVE BEVER MADE IT. THAT WAS THE DAYS OF STARCHED JEANS, DRESS SHIRTS AND THE OFFICIAL COWBOY HAT. NOT THESE DAYS. WOMEN HARDLY WEAR CLOTHES ON AWARDS SHOWS WHY IS IT RICH STARS LIKE TO LOOK LIKE THEY ARE WEARING GARBAGE CLOTHES. ESPECIALLY JUSTIN BIEBER. CANT EVER FIGURE OUT EXACTLY HOW MANY SETS OF CLOTHES ON. BUT THEY MAKE SURE YOU KNOW HOW MUCH THEY PAID FOR THEM. THAT MAKES THEM LOOK REALLY IGNORANT NOT COOL.
