Adanna Duru, formerly of American Idol and The Voice

Note that I didn’t say new song because “Trip” was featured on Adanna Duru’s 2018 “Manic Pixie Dreamgirl” album.

But it gets a refreshing new twist here with the help of Casey Abrams.

Yep, that would be the same Casey Abrams who we met on Season 10 of American Idol.

Adanna was a Top 10 contestant on American Idol Season 14. Before that, she appeared on The Voice.

Since then, she’s released an impressive array of originals music. “Manic Pixie Dreamgirl” included “Doll,” one of Voice Views’ picks for best post-Voice songs of 2018. And that album followed a 2017 product called “Stardive.”

Casey is a year removed from his own album (“I’ll Put a Spell on You”) and has been doing a ton of collaborating recently, much of which you can check out on his Instagram.
