Alisan Porter, Season 10 winner of The Voice, has released a second single from her upcoming independent EP.
The song is called “Change” and came out Friday.
And Alisan is promising more announcements of a musical sort when she visits with Kathie Lee and Hoda on the Today show Tuesday.
As for “Change,” Alisan writes on Instagram that she penned the song with the help of Jason Reeves, Jordan Lawhead and Jon Levine “on a very special day. So lucky to have such amazing musical brothers to share this journey with.” The song was produced by Greg Wells, who has worked with Adele and Elton John.
“I know these days / Everybody’s ready for a change / Unbreak these chains / Don’t you know the future’s for the brave,” Alisan sings as her voice soars on a quite catchy chorus.
“‘Change’ is my anthem, a pact with one another, to be the change we want to see,” Alisa says of the song.
“Change” follows “Deep Water” as singles from Alisan’s upcoming “I Come in Pieces” EP, due for release later this summer. A video for “Change” is also coming soon, Alisan says.
“Deep Water” cracked the Top 20 on the iTunes pop singles chart after Alisan performed it on a return to The Voice in early May.
Here’s the new single.
