American Idol is taking its Top 8 back to the 1980s tonight. And judging from the song spoiler list I just saw, we’re going to be treated to classics recorded by everyone from Michael Jackson to Joan Jett to Cyndi Lauper.
You’ve surely seen those Clear Scalp and Hair commercials during episodes of The Voice, touting an upcoming tour. Well, the tour dates have been announced.
Based on today’s iTunes results, it appears Blake Shelton saved the right singers last night on The Voice. Songs from three of the five singers from Tuesday’s episode have cracked genre charts on iTunes today.
OK, we haven’t been told exactly how this will work. But apparently viewers won’t have any say in who advances to the final 12 on The Voice.
Dawn and Hawkes fans, take note: All is far from lost. The harmonizing duo from Texas were eliminated from The Voice during the final battle round episode Monday night.
Two singers from Monday night’s episode of The Voice landed on iTunes genre charts this morning. But none cracked the Top 200 on the overall iTunes chart.
Last week, American Idol kept the Top 8 in their comfort zone. They were asked to reprise their audition songs, and responded with the best episode yet during Season 13.
Watch out. Blake Shelton has another young singer under his guidance on The Voice. And if Madilyn Paige doesn’t remind folks of Danielle Bradbery … well, then you have a short memory or missed Season 4.
Tonight marks the final battle round episode of The Voice. When the dust settles and Blake Shelton uses the final available save, we’ll be left with 20 singers, five per team.
