Sisaundra leads the way on iTunes for The Voice

We saw four more battle round matches on The Voice Tuesday night. Well, actually, we saw three battle rounds and a snippet of the fourth.
Wondering how last night’s songs from The Voice did on iTunes? Honestly, Monday’s episode was so strong, I’m surprised they didn’t do a little better.
As I wrote late night, I wasn’t thrilled with the idea of a second round of battles on The Voice. I’d rather hear the singers go solo, because that’s how we’re going to be judging them once the fan voting starts.
This should be the best week yet for the Season 13 finalists on American Idol. They’ll get to sing a song with which they’re familiar. They’ll get to sing a song with which they’ve already enjoyed success.
With spots in the live playoffs on the line, the singers from The Voice put on perhaps the best show yet Monday night. Six earned spots in those playoffs via battle round wins.
Eight contestants per team remain on The Voice. And over the course of the next couple of nights, each will engage in another round of battles. By the time it all ends, only five contestants per team will remain, including a newly stolen singer.
Round two of the battles begins tonight on The Voice. That’s right, round two, for the first time ever.
Carrie Underwood was one of the headliners at the iHeartRadio Country Festival held last weekend in Texas. The show also featured Eric Church, Jason Aldean, Dan + Shay, Luke Bryan, Hunter Hayes, Florida Georgia Line, Lady Antebellum and Jake Owen.
Fans of Phillip Phillips can rejoice today. The wait for his new album won’t be long at all.
