Huh? The X Factor wins a People’s Choice Award
Gee, really folks. The X Factor, easily the worst, least talented and most overblown of TV singing shows somehow took the award for Favorite TV competition at the People’s Choice Awards Wednesday night.

The American Idol judges participated in a live Q&A with fans after a showing of the Idol premiere at sites around the country this evening. Before we get down to what they had to say, here are my initial impressions of the new judges in a live setting.
Before we hear what the judges have to say about Season 12 of American Idol tonight, here’s what executive producer Nigel Lythgoe had to say earlier today. Nigel was talking about changes and potential changes on Idol Season 12 (the premiere is now just a week away) and his observations so far.
