New post-Voice music out recently includes singles from six artists we met on The Voice.

They include Blaine Mitchell, Matthew Schuler, Colton Smith, Tate Brusa, Davina Leone and Caroline Sky.

Here’s a bit about each of those releases.

The links take you to the songs on Apple Music. Or you can check out Spotify snippets below.

Blaine Mitchell from Season 9 released a fine new single called “Losing Myself” last week. Writes Blaine: “This story is a lot of people’s story. One of crawling out of the depths of yourself and staring fear in the face and standing tall. But not only standing moving forward. Pressing on and leaning in to find true strength and ones true self.” It’s only Blaine’s second release since The Voice and he writes about his tumultuous post-show experience here.

Matthew Schuler from Season 5 has released an interesting twist on the classic “Soul to Take.” He’s also recently released the music video for his original single “We Rule the Night” and started a Patreon campaign to support his music.

Caroline Sky from Season 12 released the sensuous sounding “Lights On” last week. It’s a song about a girl and guy who don’t see eye to eye on the future of their relationship. And it’s the fourth single this year from the young lady who was just 16 when she appeared on the show in 2017.

Davina Leone from Season 12 released “Off My Mind” on Friday. “Love this little tune,” she writes on social media. In the song, she ponders whether putting distance between herself and a guy will be the best way to get him off her mind. Davina has released three EPs since being on the show, including “Thinking It’s Forever” earlier this year.

Colton Smith from Season 15 released “Superstitions” on Friday. It follows “Fades Away” as his second of 2020. He thanks producer Ryan Hoffman for taking the track to a different dimension.

Tate Brusa from Season 18 released “Not Me That You’re Thinking Bout” last week. He calls it the “best one I’ve made so far.” And that’s coming from a guy who has already released two singles and a six-track EP called “46” since appearing on the show as a 16-year-old.
