Bucky Covington has unveiled the video to his new single, “Gotta Be Somebody,” on his Web site. You can go here to see it.

It’s a cover of a Nickelback tune, the first single from their 2008 “Dark Horse” album, as a matter of fact.

The song went all the way to number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 for Chad Kroeger and his Nickelback colleagues.

Now Bucky’s hoping it will help stir interest in his second album, which has been pushed back to a spring 2010 release.

His first single from album number two, “I Want My Life Back,” failed to crack the top 30 on Billboard’s country chart.

Here’s hoping for better luck with single number two, Bucky.

Can’t help rooting for the guy after the great show he put on at the York Fair in September.
